Sr Associate Scientist, In-Vivo Pharmacology

Pay Rate: 
$33+/hr Depending on experience

Contract to Hire

Schedule: 
Monday-Friday Day Shift

Overview:

• Work closely with multidisciplinary scientific groups including discovery specialists and in vivo team members
• Develop biomedical and cell biology assays for PD, MoA, biomarker discovery and small molecule discovery screening. 
• In vivo research: rodents handling and basic manipulations and blood processing to serum and plasma
• In vitro techniques: cell line expantion and cell culture under different treatment conditions
• Molecular biology: RNA isolation and purification, qPCR
• Biomarkers: ELISAs, WESTERN, protein extraction from cell cultures and animal tissues, Luminex-based multiplex platform (as a plus)

Qualifications:

• B.Sc or Ms with minimum 3 years lab experience 
• Collaborative and broad thinking
• Familiarity with the basic lab software: Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, SoftMax Pro (as a plus), ELN for the record keeping
