Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Kettering College seeks a full-time faculty member for the Human Biology Department. The selected individual will be qualified to teach courses and labs in General Biology I and II, Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, seminar, and upper-division course(s) in their specialty. The selected individual will act as an academic advisor for students within the Human Biology Program and will guide independent student research projects. S/he will also engage in program development and work closely with the Human Biology Department Chair to ensure instructional and program quality. The ideal candidate will be active in their local and faith communities.

 

 

 

 


Preferred Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. in Anatomy, Physiology, or similar concentration required.

    Post-doctoral studies and previous teaching experience is preferred.

 

 

  • Kettering College is affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church; it is expected that all faculty have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. A statement of faith will be required from each applicant.
