Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Division of General Pediatrics is currently seeking Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to offer care in our Loma Linda University Highland Clinic. Our Division supports 5 clinics across the Inland Empire including Highland, Redlands, Loma Linda and Moreno Valley. The position would support our Highland clinic primarily with the potential to float at times to another clinic based on needs. As a PNP, you will order tests, conduct physical examinations, make diagnoses, and prescribe treatments. You will exclusively provide care to patients under the age of 18, so education/experience in pediatrics as an NP will be required.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct well child checks, physicals and order vaccinations
  • Diagnose patients with illnesses or injuries
  • Prescribe appropriate treatments and order tests

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Requirements and Qualifications

  • California Registered Nurse license
  • California Nurse Practitioner license
  • California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing license
  • Nurse Practitioner national certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner preferred
  • Master of Science and/or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree
  • DEA registration for ordering controlled substances

Experience: two years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a pediatric setting. Two years' experience as an NP in pediatric ambulatory care preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $110,000 - $150,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
