Position Summary Under general direction from the IS Manager # Infrastructure # Cloud Services, this architect role will operate as the team lead for the Server team. The team lead will help guide the team#s work and troubleshooting efforts. The team is responsible for storage, virtualization (server, desktop, and application), servers, backups, and cloud technologies.## Position Responsibilities Unit Specific Position Responsibilities Qualifications, Knowledge # Experience Required Qualifications (Including any licensure, certification, education): Bachelor#s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field; OR a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience managing infrastructure in an enterprise environment.# Organizational Requirements: Maintain stroke education per regulatory requirements. # # Preferred Qualifications: None # # Required Knowledge, Skills # Experience: A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated expert level skills and knowledge in one or more of the following core system areas: Microsoft server operating systems, LAN/WAN infrastructure, virtual servers # storage management, software application systems, system security, or system interfaces.# Strong knowledge of IT Security principles, best practices, and procedures# Strong critical thinking skills are required to ensure such things as good time management, problem-solving, systems thinking, business impact, patient safety, etc. are considered when weighing decisions and evaluating options# Strong project management skills, as this position will be responsible for leading complex infrastructure projects# Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated problem-solving abilities to solve the most complex service tickets.# Strong teamwork skills to build trust and collaboration with application owners, team members, and leaders across the organization# Strong communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders on projects, implementations, and troubleshooting activities.# Superior system documentation skills # this position is responsible for the documentation of infrastructure design and as-built diagrams using Visio or other similar software.# Positive and professional attitude# Strong interpersonal skills# Demonstrated ability to design and manage highly available and self-healing infrastructure.# # # Preferred Knowledge, Skills # Experience: Previous experience in a hospital information systems department# Previous experience with electronic health record management systems# Previous experience with Microsoft O365, Google G-Suite, or other cloud productivity solutions# Previous experience with IaaS, PaaS, SaaS administration# Previous experience with cloud Identity and Access Management solutions such as Azure Active Directory# Previous experience with cloud security solutions# Previous experience with infrastructure automation through scripting, playbooks, etc#
