The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services. Client verticals include Financial Institutions, Retail & Commerce and Digital Partners and many others.

About the Team

Mastercard's Loyalty is a part of Data & Services and works closely with major financial organizations, retailers, airlines, and other enterprises to provide a range of offerings that span data management, rewards and offers, and much more all to enable frictionless customer transactions and improve customer Loyalty experiences.

The Rewards Product Team is looking for a Director, Product Management and Commercialization to lead the go to market for its Redemption Suite. This role will lead the delivery and oversee the go-to-market roadmap ensuring maximum impact from key stakeholders across multiple markets, segments and products. This role will be instrumental in not only the roll out of new products to regions and clients but also the ongoing management of key internal and external stakeholders as well as key vendors that contribute to the product line.

Position Responsibilities
• Acts as product and business owner and manages long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for a commercialized Redemption products
• Contribute to overall strategy of product evolution, while also establishing the go-to-market strategy, optimize products and resources, implement incremental improvements within the product's life cycle, conduct ongoing care and maintenance
• Drive tangible data-driven business outcomes at the product level, manage to a quantified scorecard continuously monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators and optimizing product performance
• Interpret and apply program vision and strategy to product strategy and roadmap for the Products they manage, clearly communicating it to key stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Demonstrates expertise in facilitating collaboration across multiple markets, segments and products to achieve product commercial readiness.
• Drive a user-centric culture of data driven, test and learn experimentation, continuously assessing and enhancing the Product user experience. Partner with Delivery and Servicing teams to ensure that Products are easy to deploy and deliver a great experience during operation
• Demonstrate depth of knowledge of their Product and the ecosystem in which it operates (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive environment). Apply this knowledge to the development of winning Product strategies
• Demonstrate awareness of Mastercard's broader Product offering and the ability to leverage Products from other business areas to augment Product capabilities
• Partner with other commercialization colleagues to create synergies and holistic Mastercard Rewards/Loyalty story
• Leverage data to quickly identify Product performance challenges, creating proactive plans to drive usage and revenues. Use data-driven analysis to prioritize resources to deliver against the plan
• Ensure that the broader Mastercard organization is enabled to sell focus Products by creating compelling communications & marketing content in partnership with Marketing
• Partner with the Guilds to create and share best practices within the Program with a focus on driving continuous improvement in the Program's operating model
• Provide regular coaching and feedback to direct reports and partners to grow individual functional skills, experience and leadership capabilities
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning by leveraging the learning & development curriculum to augment existing knowledge, skills and experiences
• Develop talent and provide timely feedback, coaching in the moment, and mentoring
• Demonstrate and drive Mastercard Way behaviours through their behaviour, recognitions, coaching, and employee engagement.

About you

• Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment
• Loyalty and Rewards experience, with good understanding of the current Redemption environment
• Can deliver high quality products/services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly
• Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
• Demonstrated ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy
• Proven track record of data driven decision making and applying continuous improvement and test and learn methodologies across teams
• Extensive experience building and launching products
• Can communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity
• Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing executive leadership while commanding the respect of the individual product teams across the organization
• Experience translating strategies into product launches and implementation plans in multiple markets
• Demonstrates an understanding of our performance and leadership bar and effectively applies it to hiring Decisions
• Demonstrated experience as people manager with the ability to attract, recruit, and develop product talent
• Successful track record strategically managing P&L for multiple Mastercard projects and products
