Overview:

The Priceless Platform team operates with a start-up mentality within the broader Consumer Marketing team and Mastercard. The goal of this team is to build out the Priceless Platform technology to be the hub for all consumer-facing content across Mastercard for B2C (www.priceless.com), and a revenue-driving product solution for B2B2C (for Mastercard B2B customers who can leverage the Priceless Platform technology and content via API or co-branded microsite to engage their customers).

The Priceless Platform team is looking for a Director of UX Design. In this role, you will help with design enhancements on the B2C facing site, designs for our customers and partners, and support the team with help designing materials used to communicate internally and externally. You will help define a cohesive visual strategy across various UI elements, user journeys, elevate the quality and efficiency of the entire org by enhancing design systems, and lead new exciting product design efforts that expand new types of user journeys, and significantly improve our product experiences.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the consumer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. They will have a strong understanding of design principles, excellent visual design skills, and a passion for creating engaging and user-friendly designs.

Role:

• Create visually appealing, user friendly, and modern design for the Priceless Platform.
• Contribute to product roadmap to ensure design is enhanced on an ongoing basis with a north star in mind.
• Partner cross-functionally to understand both stakeholder and customer needs and create a design that supports both.
• Design with a global mindset, allowing for customization at the region and local level.
• Execute at every stage of the design lifecycle from concept to delivery – from wireframes, mockups to prototypes to present design ideas and concepts.
• Assist colleagues with design guidance for various projects.
• Implement best practices to optimize website or mobile performance and usability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web design and user experience.
• Provide design support for internal communications to help others understand the Priceless Platform strategy and vision.
• Build consensus across diverse teams through user-centric solutions and effective communications

All About You:
• 10+ years of relevant design experience
• A portfolio of mobile and app design work demonstrating experience creating great user-centered design solutions, creative strategy and/or design system for consumer facing products across platforms
• Proven experience with iterative design and development process
• A strong sense of user empathy.
• Problem solver who can be effective in situations with limited information, building a solution from first principles and communicating it to stakeholders.
• Humble, driven, and motivated to ship the best product.
• Strong understanding of website accessibility requirements
• Experience designing for globally available platforms
• Self-directed, well organized, and extremely detail oriented
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong relationship building and collaborative skills
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle numerous tasks with tight deadlines
• Team player with willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities and to work as a member of diverse and geographically distributed team
• Willing to travel (10% of the time)

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
