Title and Summary

Lead Product Manager -Technical Overview
Service Operations Tools (SOT) program is a part of Business Operations (BizOps) group within Mastercard, which is leading the DevOps transformation at Mastercard through our tooling and by being an advocate for change & standards throughout the development, quality, release, and product organizations. The team's mission is to obsess on the needs of Business operations group to automate operational activities, reduce manual toil and tie everything together through custom applications. Engineers working in this team are experts in software development and DevOps toolchain to build and continually enhance DevOps experience and productivity at Mastercard. Our program follows an iterative approach to development with teams located globally.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Product Manager Technical to join our dynamic team. As a Lead PMT, you will be responsible for developing inspiring platform/product visions, derived from business needs, market opportunities, and technology trends.

ROLE

• Own multiple products vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for iterative releases
• Identifies gaps and charters new platform capabilities as required.
• Makes use of research, user studies, metrics, and competitive analysis to understand the platform and business needs for a platform product.
• Compares features for competitive review to inform prioritization within a platform product release.
• Participates with the business in customer research to inform platform product feature needs.
• Makes trade-off decisions on platform product features.
• Determines release goals for the platform and prioritizes assigned features according to business and platform value, adjusting throughout implementation as needed.
• Work with development teams, software architects, product team, and external groups to ensure a clear understanding of business needs which will drive software development activities. Continuously monitors feature development at the feature level
• Reviews product demo with the development team against acceptance criteria for the feature set
• Prepares launches and monitors platform performances, adoption, and operational health for feature sets
• Supports and participates in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into the feature
• Establishes a network within the organization; begins to build internal and external networks

ALL ABOUT YOU
• Successful candidate should have a strong technical background and experience to enable them to work closely across multiple technical teams driving platform requirement which aligns with the platform vision.
• Proven ability to analyze software requirements, model business processes/workflows, and align software requirements to business strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex systems and communicate effectively with the technical teams.
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills (English language)
• Able to negotiate requirements and build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to balance work across multiple projects/work streams while still meeting deadlines. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
