Overview
Ethoca is looking for a Manager of our BizOps team to drive our employee experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Role
In this position, you will:
• Manage globally diverse teams with experience in supporting mission critical Java based applications running on-premises and in Azure's public cloud
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Application and Database operations teams supporting a 24/7 environment
• Work with the wider Ethoca and Mastercard teams to design and manage the implementation of end-to-end solutions
• The candidate would be assisting with business requirements planning, installation, configuration, optimization, and support for innovative technical solutions focused on a highly secure computing infrastructureWork to identify organizational improvements including employee coaching and mentoring
• Provide Linux server and Java application escalation support including problem investigation and resolution
• Manage multiple projects while ensuring business as usual tasks and activities are completed in parallel
• Partner and develop relationships with other technical teams within the company to develop new solutions and services
• Participate in, and lead customer and regulatory audits including PCI-DSS and SOC-II compliance frameworks
• Create technical documentation including design documents, procedures and standards
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, able to write high quality documentation and produce operational reports

All About You
• Strong technical leader with a proven track record of excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while concurrently managing multiple projects and team activities
• Previous experience managing services in the Azure public cloud, managing Linux servers and Java application administration or equivalent technical certifications recommended
• Microsoft Azure experience is required
• Networking experience and famliarity with networking technologies
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership
• Ability to compose, direct others on and follow documented processes and procedures is required
• Ability to assist teams with complex problem solving and a fast thinker able to come up to solutions to difficult problems
• Coach team members working on technical problem resolution and support with minimal guidance to completion
• Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
• Experience in conflict management and negotiation to align multiple business units to the same common business goals
• Professionalism and good work ethic skills are required
• Stay abreast of current technologies and make recommendations based on knowledge and research
