Overview

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Customer & Proposition Management team are responsible for building an effective understanding of our target payment flows within our internal organisation and in our customer markets. We manage the creation of compelling product messaging and knowledge sharing, which enable the sale of prioritised Transfer Solutions Products.

This is a global role and the Manager – Customer & Proposition Management will work with the Transfer Solutions Disbursement & Remittances Product organisation and with the regional Americas & APEMEA sales and product organisations.

They will lead the development of materials to support and educate our sales organisation on the capabilities Mastercard brings to Disbursements & Remittances and create narratives and materials for external use within sales or business development engagements. A deep understanding of product launch and GTM activities along with product marketing experience and knowledge of cross border payments are foundational to success in this role.

The role requires an agile, curious and a creative thinker who is customer focused and understands market dynamics in cross border payments. They will be comfortable with developing their strategy and defining the outcomes of their deliverables, can set goals for themselves, track progress in a cross functional environment, and drive initiatives forward.

This role is a critical function within Transfer Solutions, working as part of team responsible for scaling our business across key markets, regions, and flows, driving revenue, and contributing towards financial goals.

Key Accountabilities and Duties
The key role functions are to:
• Develop, maintain, and distribute the narrative of our Disbursement & Remittances to internal and external audiences
• Support knowledge sharing and education of the organisation on the markets and needs of our target flows in relation to the Transfer Solutions products
• Lead cross functional teams / working groups to deliver on agreed programmes which enhance our market and customer engagement
• Manage the creation of materials which provide clear value propositions to address the needs of different target segments and markets
• Lead programmes targeted at improving knowledge within our sales organisation or in the positioning of Transfer Solutions products
• Collaborate with the Disbursements & Remittances teams and the Customer Solution Centres on product positioning and developing compelling narratives for segments
• Provide management reporting on the business impact of their programmes to gain stakeholder buy-in and support for future initiatives

All About You
Experience
• Strong background in product commercialisation or product marketing with experience defining and execution of go to market strategies
• Proven experience of internal stakeholder management, communications, and relationship building with senior audiences
• Track record of working in a global product, marketing or sales enablement environment with a focus on cross border payments
• Experience in working in a global team supporting multiple regional sales organisations
• Adept at cross-functional collaboration and managing projects or programmes
• Demonstrates domain knowledge & authority of sales support and go to market activities
• Is customer centric and experienced in developing market facing propositions

Skills & Capabilities
• Experience in product commercialisation, product marketing, and GTM planning and execution
• Deep knowledge of cross border / international payments particularly in B2B and P2P flows
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and influence deliverables across multiple business units and teams
• Autonomous self-starter who is actively collaborative and competent leading by influence
• Agile innovator who challenges the status quo, introduces new approaches, and is open to experimenting with novel methods that have an impact on results.
• Ability to break down silos and build cross-functional, collaborative relationships & business practices
• Comfortable managing market demands & prioritisation conflicts with different teams

Desirable
Experience in the payments and / or banking industry
Experience of travelling and working outside the UK
