Title and Summary

Manager, Total Rewards, Americas Overview
The Total Rewards Team delivers world class programs that position our company as an employer of choice. Our global team designs and delivers consumer focused compensation, benefits and mobility programs for our employees, and leads all human resources M&A activities.

This position will support the compensation and benefit teams by providing overall compensation consultative support and lead rewards projects and initiatives for the Americas region.

Role
Primary partner to designated business units on all compensation related items such as general support, providing proactive support for business issues, special projects ensuring market competitive pay and appropriate internal alignment.

• Partners with business leaders and People Business Partners (PBP) to provide local compensation guidance on all components of compensation (i.e. job evaluation, executive offers and the allocation of base, bonus and LTI at yearend)
• Working closely with the PBP(s), and local/regional leadership on design requirements for total rewards programs that can be addressed across the Rewards disciplines and solutions
• Provides advice to business leaders on trends in all global rewards disciplines and their applicability to specific regional populations
• Leverages TR analytics to provide forward-looking TR market insights to PBPs and business leaders as well as historic trends
• Provides design consultation to the Rewards COE, leads on the design and development of Rewards programs based on priorities agreed between the business and P&C
• Proactively forecasts and prioritizes Rewards-related business needs to ensure business expectations are managed and resources within Total Rewards are aligned accordingly
• Supports implementation of Rewards programs in respective regions and provides input and feedback to business leaders and other Rewards team members accordingly

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Compensation programs, design practices, and administration
• Local understanding of the Americas markets required (Canada, US, LAC)
• Demonstrated ability to build cross functional relationships through an understanding of the business
• Able to influence stakeholders across levels and functions
• Able to solve problems while applying creativity to support effective compensation proposals and solutions
• Highly collaborative team player who proactively drives process improvements
• Strong excel, analytical, modelling, project management and communication skills and ability to use analytical thinking to leverage data for insights
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
