Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Climate Data Overview:

The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Climate Data plays a crucial role in sourcing, managing, tracking, and analyzing Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions data for Mastercard's sustainability initiatives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and preparing reports to support our commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.

Role:

• Collect and maintain accurate, consistent, and reliable inventory of supplier sustainability data collected from various sources within supply chain to enhance greenhouse gas emissions calculations
• Integrate sustainability metrics into financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD, SEC).
• Assist in the preparation of sustainability disclosures for regulatory filings.
• Maintain cross-functional datasets and development of procedures to ensure consistency across data collection and emissions calculations
• Collaborate with relevant teams to validate and improve data quality.
• Build and maintain key supply chain greenhouse gas emissions dashboards for key stakeholders
• Implement robust data collection processes to capture emissions data effectively.
• Document best practices, standard operating procedures, and any specific nuances related to greenhouse gas accounting within the supply chain.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sustainability, operations, and procurement.
• Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
• Regularly review and enhance data collection processes based on feedback and emerging industry standards.
• Identify areas for data process optimization and opportunities to reduce the carbon footprint across the supply chain.

All About You:

• Knowledge of data organization and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Familiarity with project management tools (ie Smartsheet)
• Demonstrated ability in analyzing emissions data and identify key trends or variances
• Familiarity with ESG and GHG accounting principles, methods, and reporting (such as the GHG Protocol, CDP, CSRD, ESRS, SECR )
• Working knowledge of different emission sources (e.g., energy consumption, transportation, manufacturing processes) and their impact on emissions.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
