Title and Summary

Settlement Product Management Overview
•This position is responsible for supporting the execution of the Mastercard Cross-Border Services Product as Settlement Product Manager supporting both long-term and short-term strategic initiatives related to Shared Services (FX features and management, settlement, billing, and compliance) for the Cross-Border Services (XBS) product.

Role
•Drive tangible data/fact driven business outcomes at the product level, manage to a quantified scorecard continuously monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators and optimizing product performance.
•Responsible for demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the Product and the ecosystem in which it operates (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, competitive environment).
•Apply knowledge of industry, economics, and product to enhance and develop prioritized Product strategies efforts.
•Oversees product evolution related to Shared Services, collaborates with key stakeholders/owners to establish a go-to-market strategy for features that leverage Shared Services capabilities.
•Implement incremental improvements in collaboration with the cross-functional teams.
•Provide regular coaching and feedback to colleagues/partners to grow individual functional skills, experience, and leadership capabilities.
•Drive institutionalized knowledge through the use of consistent product documentation (e.g., support documents) across the Studio framework.
•This role works in conjunction with other team members to draft the business requirements; to create business cases; to operationalize enhancements, and ensure solutions provide best in class customer experience which drive results.

•Proven ability to lead in a matrix environment.
•Prior experience with delivering high quality products/services in a high growth environment where priorities shift rapidly.
•Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
•Demonstrated ability to operate with complete independence and autonomy.
•Proven track record of data driven decision making and applying continuous improvement and test and learn methodologies across teams.
•Extensive experience building and launching products.
•Comprehensive experience in Agile delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
•Communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity.
•Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with, and influencing executive leadership while commanding the respect of the individual product teams across the organization.
•Experience translating strategies into product launches and implementation plans in multiple markets.
•Successful track record strategically managing P&L for multiple Mastercard projects and products.
•Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet project constraints (budget, deadlines, etc.)
•Gained exposure to multiple cultures by working with colleagues from multiple countries or markets.
•Demonstrated self-direction in overcoming organizational conflict or conflicting priorities.
•Worked cooperatively in a team atmosphere and showed initiative in contributing ideas and developing relationships within the organization.
•Significant experience in production management experience in Cross-Border payments.
•Have had exposure to working with senior/executive level stakeholders.
•Responsible for understanding our products' main stakeholders across the full value chain.
•Responsible for knowing our top competitors for our product; their capabilities and understanding where and how well we compete.
•Must be able to articulate our products in terms of a full story arc with a concise value proposition.
•Learn to identify trends that will impact our products 3-5 years in the future.
•Must understand how our products makes money and the underlying business model.
