Responsibilities

Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI has an opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Advanced Gastroenterologist to join our largest Mayo Clinic Health system multi-specialty GI practice providing high quality care, focusing on the needs of the patient. The selected candidate would join an established group of 5 General Gastroenterologists and 7 APPs in providing gastroenterology services in a physician-led, stable organization committed to high quality patient satisfaction. Additional team members include a strong a dedicated endoscopy procedure support team consisting of Registered Nurses, Endoscopy Techs, and scheduling resources. This position would also have General GI responsibilities.

This opportunity is part of an academically oriented practice combined with clinical research opportunities and the advanced endoscopist position will have not have any general GI responsibilities. The Eau Claire Gastroenterology division is in a state of growth, not only in size, geographic patient care and services, but also in academic focus to include teaching opportunities, growth in multidisciplinary specialty clinic including Surgical Oncology/Cancer Center and research, innovation, and optimization endeavors.

  • Collegial relationship with Gastroenterologist in Mayo Clinic Rochester and other surrounding regions.
  • Office, endoscopy unit and hospital are in one facility that consists of two new procedure rooms with state-of-the-art equipment designed for supporting advanced procedures, totaling 9 endoscopy procedure rooms in the Eau Claire location.
  • Advanced call is shared with advanced endoscopists in an already established Advanced practice and is extremely manageable to ensure a solid work, life, balance.
