MedStar Health is pleased to announce an Advance Practice Provider opening in our established cardiology practice at Cardiology Associates-Annapolis, Maryland and Kent Island, Maryland.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in cardiology, post-graduation, thorough documentation skills, great work ethic and be able to work autonomously while being connected regularly with non-invasive cardiologists and advanced practice providers. The normal, full-time schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Schedule is planned out ahead of time with specific days for inpatient rounding and ambulatory clinic. Approximately every three months regular 40-hr work week schedule also includes working Saturday and Sunday, split between six APPs. Week leading up to weekend work includes one weekday off before and one weekday off after working the weekend.
PAs and NPs are welcome to apply. Interested nurse practitioners are preferred to have acute-care based certification. New graduates who apply are welcome to share their cardiac experience. This job excludes holidays and after-hour responsibilities.
