Overview:
This position is primarily remote (work from home) - but, occasional in office at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, MO.
The Administrative Assistant role supports the workflow of the Organizational Effectiveness Department.
Organizational Effectiveness (OE) is a service department whose purpose is to support the educational needs/requests received from across the Ministry.
- Maintains positive customer relations.
- Answers telephone and routes calls appropriately.
- Greets customers in a timely and pleasant manor.
- Assists in addressing the needs of each customer
- Establishes/maintains department files as appropriate.
- Photocopies, faxes, distribute documents as appropriate.
- Processes documents that flow through the department as necessary.
- Orders department supplies, requisitions maintenance needs or other services as needed.
- Tracks and records purchases in budget database.
- Oversees tracking and assignments for student rotations.
- Reports problems and opportunities for improvement to the appropriate staff or manager.
- Participates in continued educational opportunities to expand knowledge base.
- Collaborates with other Administrative Assistants across the Ministry.
- Administrator for learning management system.
- Administrator for RQI/Heartcode Complete voice-assisted manikins (VAM's).
- Participates in the collection and reporting of data as needed.
- Participates in established goal groups appropriate for role.
- Microsoft Office 365 proficiency: specifically with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of one-year previous administrative assistant experience
- Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent
