Overview:
The Diabetes Educator plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive education and support to patients diagnosed with diabetes within the hospital and/or outpatient setting. This position involves collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized diabetes management plans, empowering patients to achieve optimal health outcomes and improve their quality of life.Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Health Education, or related field.
Certification: Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) credential required.
Experience: Clinical experience in diabetes management and education, preferably in a hospital or outpatient setting.
