Overview:

 

The Executive Director-Patient Access will be responsible for leading Clinic Contact Centers and Central Test Scheduling teams dedicated to patient access activities including, but not limited to, scheduling, referral and prior authorization activities. Collaborates with department-specific leaders to direct activities of coworkers and teams for target achievement, goal setting and to ensure smooth transitions occur between ambulatory and test/procedure scheduling. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree

     

  • Experience: 3-5 years in a management position.

     

  • Other Skills and Knowledge: Must have demonstrated skills in leadership, oral and written communication, problem solving and organizational ability. Must be competent in many computer systems and be able to troubleshoot computer equipment. Must be competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

     

  • Preferred Education: Masters degree

     

  • Preferred Experience: Managing call center metrics, ensuring customer satisfaction, and reporting statistical performance levels related to contact center performance in healthcare.
