Overview:

This position assists the Department Supervisor in the preparation of food for the patients and staff. This includes preparing the patients food according to Physician's orders. Clean the kitchen and dining areas, rotate food and check inventory. Reports to Dietary Supervisor. This position will perform duties as needed. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: None
• Required Education: None
• Preferred Education: High school diploma/GED is preferred.
• Certifications: None
• Other: Ability to operate kitchen equipment and have knowledge of food groups and be able to read and understand menus.
