Position: Hyperbaric Technician

Department: Wound Center

Shift: Full Time Days, 40hrs a week

Overview:

Utilizes the hyperbaric process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School/GE, or comprehend/perform at HS
• Basic Life Support
• Licensure: Current and up to date licensure
• Example: RMA, EMT, etc
• Experience: One year experience in medical field
• Certifications:
• Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) or completes certification requirements (CHT) within 2 years of hire.
• 100 Dive hrs + 12 CEU every 2 yr
• Other:
• Work under the direction of wound care doctor
• Ability to understand and follow all hyperbaric safety procedures.
• Self-motivated
• One on one patient care
