Overview:

 

The Manager of Strategic initiatives will serve an integral role in assisting the MercyNWACommunities in development and implementation of strategic initiatives as directed by local Administration. Responsible for facilitation of a variety of Mercy programs and strategic projects, the director will collaborate closely with operations leaders by identifying, developing, and providing data and tools that enable leadership to surface issues, and make informed decisions and action plans to support operations in achievement of strategic and operational goals.

 

In addition, the director works closely with leadership with co-worker engagement and cultural initiatives. As a member of the administrative team, participates in an active and positive manner in decision-making and implementation of key strategic initiatives. Partners with Mercyleaders and co-workers to administer the planning of special events for physicians and co-workers. Includes the preparation, development, arrangement, scheduling and organization of events.

 

The position will report to the NWA Vice President of Operations and will work closely with the NWA Vice President of Patient Experience and other administrative team members to ensure coordination and prioritization of work efforts and reporting. Position will also work with Vice President HR Strategic Partner and work as an administrative liaison for co-worker needs.


Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field. Appropriate Human Resources experience in lieu of degree may be considered.

  • Experience: Five plus years in Human Resources.
