Lab Support Tech Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 6 months phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience of successful completion of a clinical training program.

Medical Lab Technician/Technologist Qualifications:

• Education: Associate's degree in a major that meets an accreditation agency's requirements

• Experience: 1 year acceptable clinical laboratory experience

• Preferred Education: Associate degree in chemistry, biology or other science related field that meets requirements for certification agency requirements

• Preferred Certifications: MLT (ASCP) or equivalent

Medical Technologist Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree
• Experience: a. up to 3 years acceptable clinical laboratory experience as a certified MLS/MT or equivalent or b. certification eligible new MLS graduate
• Certifications: Current certification as MT/MLS or categorical certification, through ASCP or equivalent

Phlebotomist Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: 6 months phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience of successful completion of a clinical training program.
