Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20,000 Lifetime: The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.?


Overview:

Independently, or under the direction of a Radiologist, performs MRI procedures and patient care requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative for obtaining a diagnosis. Has responsibility for routine MRI imaging and other procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology; with independent selection and modification of technical factors to produce optimum MRI scans, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort a top priority. Performs related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA approved school and meets the requirements for registry by ARRT.

  • Licensure: Registered with the ARRT in Radiography and MR.

  • Experience: 1 year

  • Certifications: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period.

  • Other: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge.

  • Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients. Continual standing or walking. Adapt to stressful situations.

  • Equipment Used: Should be proficient in the use of MR Scanners, Power Injectors, workstations and Computers.
