Overview:
Directly responsible for the daily operations and staff supervision of more than two physician business units or a single practice with a unique program or services including multiple providers and co-workers. Ensures professional and technical operation of clinical units with moderate to high complexity and that all policies and procedures are followed on a day-to-day basis. May supervise other Practice Managers and Practice Coordinators. Responsible for independent management of the business units in accordance with Clinic Initiatives: Physician Satisfaction, Co-Worker Satisfaction, Patient Satisfaction, Quality, and Business Performance. Reports directly to Director or VP of Operations. Performs all related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or 5+ years clinic management experience.
- Knowledge of office management and human resource management practices.
- Knowledge of health care administration principles, CPT and ICD-10 codes.
- Computer literate
- Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in clinic management.
- Other skills & knowledge:(skills, knowledge, abilities)
- Extensive knowledge of managed care billing practices required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain working relationships with physicians, staff and the public.
- Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines in timely manner.
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to analyze balance sheets and income statements. Experience in managing accounts receivable.
