Department Information:
Overview
Serves to support orientation, competency programs, in-service education, continuing education, academic partnerships, career development and role transition at the Unit level for Mercy coworkers.

Qualifications:
- Required Education: BSN/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required or enrolled within 6 months of hire.
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. Demonstrates clinical knowledge related to evidence-based practice with the credibility to positively influence the delivery of patient care
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications: Completes Hospital and required nursing competencies, mandatory in-services/MyEducation assignments and relevant certifications (ex. BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.) within required time frame.
