Will consider LPN and RN candidates


Overview:

 

The Rapid Access Coordinator has a wide variety of roles in the hospital including bed planning, transfer coordination, and occasional house supervisor duties. 

 

The Rapid Access Coordinator collaborates with a variety of care teams to facilitate and manage the process of patient care from an entry point of assessment and admission across the state of practice, to a Mercy Health System hospital, through discharge and hand-off or return to a community provider. In addition, registers patients as needed, places the patient in an appropriate bed based on clinical expertise, and in collaboration with the house supervisor when needed. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

 

9am-9pm

 


Qualifications:

  • Education: Associates or Bachelor Degree (prefered) in Nursing

  • Licensure: Arkansas RN licensure

  • Experience: Require minimum 3 years adult acute care experience; case management experience, (preferred); utilization management experience (preferred); well-developed communication and influence skills.
