Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm, Onsite, Moses Lake, WA

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

  •  Installation, configuration, calibration and maintenance of all control, measurement, and indication instrumentation devices.
  • Use a variety of test equipment for calibration and troubleshooting instruments.
  • Consulting diagrams & technical documentation such as schematics, manuals, standards, codes and loop sheets.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve complex issues in malfunctioning instruments.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers or vendors to obtain technical support for troubleshooting advanced problems.
  • Perform rigorous testing procedures on instrumentation devices, validating their functionality and adherence to specifications.
  • Build various control panels utilizing DeltaV I/O, power supplies, various terminals, fuse blocks, switches and relays to meet process demands and industry standards.
  • Implement predictive and preventative maintenance strategies to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Develop calibration schedules and conduct precise calibrations on various instrumentation to maintain accuracy.
  • Coordinate with CMMS personnel to ensure proper documentation of preventative maintenance records and documentation.
  • Uphold all MLI policies and “MLI Code of Conduct.”
  • Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.
  • Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required.  It is the employee's commitment to ensure that the Company's actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high performing team. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Instrumentation/Controls Certificate/Diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Knowledge of theories of operation for basic instrumentation disciplines, such as flow, pressure, temperature, level, etc.
  • Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software.
  • Working knowledge of arithmetic and grammar.
  • Demonstrated ability to:
  • Follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines.
  • Work as a team and/or independently.
  • Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $23-$33/hour

WORKING CONDITIONS

Duties are generally performed indoors and outdoors in a high purity manufacturing environment. The noise level in the manufacturing work environment is occasionally loud. Employees will work in a covered Process Safety Management (PSM) environment containing threshold quantities of flammable liquids and/or gasses that have a potential for fire or explosion. Employees working in this environment are required to be free from devices that are not considered intrinsically safe. Examples of devices that may not be intrinsically safe include Insulin Pumps, Pacemakers, Pain Management devices, etc. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
