The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with New York City/Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, is seeking an Addiction Medicine Physician either internist or psychiatrist for the position of Director of the CATCH team. The Consult for Addiction Treatment and Care in Hospital (CATCH) team is a critical component of the Mayoral Healing NYC Initiative and will provide addiction consultation services for hospitalized medical and surgical patients and bridge them to continuing treatment after discharge. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurse practitioners, social workers and Peers to engage patients with SUD in treatment.
Requirements include Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree and completion of ACGME accredited residency training program in Psychiatry or Internal Medicine with an expertise in addictions. We offer faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System.
