This position is a hybrid role (3x per week onsite) that will be based at our headquarters in Fremont, California. There is up to 25% travel, both domestic and international, associated with this role.
Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:
Own & drive product-level competitive analysis
Build systems & processes to systematically capture product capabilities, positioning & value
Integrate competitive intel functions into business systems
Create and track KPI's
Coordinate activities across multiple departments
Prepare and deliver internal briefings
Advise product development teams
Here is some of what you'll need (required):
B.S. in Business, Economics, Marketing, or Engineering
5-10 years of relevant experience
Capacity for comparing product offerings, understanding strengths and weaknesses
Strategic mindset
Experience/Proven ability to:
Gather and analyze large datasets
Build analytic functions using Excel, Power BI
Integrate multiple types and sources of data, ad-hoc and systematic, to drive conclusions and actions
Project-manage complex, multi-department efforts to successful completion
Experience, understanding, and comfort with:
Complex, engineered products involving multiple disciplines
Multi-phase customer project lifecycles
B2B selling with several customer buying influences
Skilled In:
Verbal and written communications
Visualizing complex data
Delivering presentations

MBA degree
Power generation industry experience
Utility-scale solar experience
Analyst / research firm experience
Developing code for targeted research / analysis
Pay Range (Applicable to California)
$155,000.00 - $180,000.00 USD
