The Sourcing Data Analyst will be based in Madrid, Spain in Nextracker office. In this position, you will report to the Sourcing Director  and you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to sourcing and procurement activities. This role involves identifying trends, patterns, and insights that can help the organization make informed decisions regarding suppliers, products, and sourcing strategies.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do…

  • Gather data from various sources, including internal databases, supplier information and market reports
  • Analyze sourcing data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to present findings and insights to stakeholders
  • Evaluate suppliers performance based on key metrics such as cost, quality, delivery, and compliance
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the sourcing and procurement function
  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management and other stakeholders

Here is some of what you'll need (required)…

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a sourcing or procurement
  • Excellent understanding of sourcing and procurement processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
  • Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Fluent oral and written communications in English
  • Results orientation and demonstrated ability to think out of the box to drive results
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and respond quickly and flexibly
  • Autonomous

Here are a few of our preferred experiences…

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain, solar and/or steel sector preferred.
  • Experience working in an international environment
