  • Supports engineers with setup tasks for development and manufacturing, such as PCB modification, cable assemblies, kitting, prototype repairs, and test assemblies.
  • Participates in schematic checks and design reviews for PCB board prototypes.


Qualifications

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
  • Skilled in electrical and mechanical assembly with good attention to detail
  • Developing an understanding of engineering methodologies and best practices within area of expertise or engineering discipline
  • Supports engineers with setup tasks for testing and development at a fast pace with high reliability
  • Assists with initial manufacturing setup and first article verification at manufacturing location
  • Helps to verify kitting and documentation
  • Resolves and adjusts issues with BOM and manufacturing data during bug fixes and adding features
  • Carefully follows guidance regarding safety and usage of lab equipment
  • Familiar with basic test and measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and in-system programming equipment
  • Recommends possible fixture and probing solutions during prototype phase
  • Designs and assembles test fixtures with guidance from engineers. Assists with testing when required
  • Assists in the design phase through verification of pin assignments, data sheet specifications, part dimensions, and ordering information for each component production
  • Delivers small to medium individual tasks by assigned deadlines 
  • Seeking 4-8 years of experience

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.    This contract position has a base pay range of $33.80 - $47.80 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits include eligibility for medical insurance, employee assistance program, and paid sick leave. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms.
