NJM's Law and Regulation team is seeking a Compliance Analyst.  This position assists with ensuring the Company adheres to regulatory and legal requirements when performing operations. Strong communication and analytical skills and attention to detail are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Research property and casualty insurance industry compliance regulations and laws;
•    Assist in the management of the proposed regulatory comments workflow;
•    Perform audits and compliance reviews to evaluate / assess internal operational and procedural compliance:
•    Review, summarize, and distribute quarterly reports on Market Conduct activity in the States the Group conducts business;   
•    Assist with compliance meetings, educating employees on regulatory requirements, and compliance reporting;
•    Assist in preparing and reporting on compliance audits, and status of compliance activities to senior management;
•    Support evolving regulatory compliance strategies, policies, and procedures based on new or changed regulations and business priorities; and
•    Support the Law and Regulation Department with other general responsibilities and tasks when required, such as complaint handling and special projects when assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

•    Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
•    Attention to detail and organized.
•    Results-oriented, able to successfully take ownership, and problem solve. Strong analytical skills.
•    Collaborative, with strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to customer service.
•    Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively while producing a high-quality work product. 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
•    Bachelor's degree (preferred)
•    Minimum 3 years property casualty insurance industry experience (underwriting strongly preferred) with an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.

The Salary range for this role is $67,018 - $77,000. Compensation is commensurate with experience and credentials.
