Ready to make a profound impact in your community? Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is seeking a dedicated Medical Technologist Blood Bank Supervisor to join our team. The MT Blood Bank Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation, environment, work processes, and management of the transfusion services needed within the Blood Bank Department of our 25-bed critical access hospital.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely analysis and reporting of clinical samples, planning, coordinating and managing functions within the Blood Bank.
  • Supervise testing, staffing, training, quality control, professional consultation, instrument maintenance and validation and other functions toward the attainment of these goals to ensure quality, service, and efficiency.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, budgeting, and perform a variety of diversified and complex laboratory tests within the core lab, including processing various blood samples.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in a Health Science or a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Lab Science. Certification and registration such as, ASCP or HHS. Supervisors must be able to work in all areas of the clinical laboratory as a generalist.
