Northwell Health's Hospital Medicine Service Line is seeking an Associate Director of Hospital Medicine & Physician Advisor at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital. Qualified Candidates must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

This combined position will work closely with Medical, Nursing, Quality, Case Management and Administrative leaders to achieve effective care management processes and develop new initiatives to improve clinical quality. As physician advisor, serves as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff to support the overall organizational goal of providing high quality patient care by promoting best practices to drive effective and efficient utilization of health care resources. Advises patient care teams to provide optimal care in the appropriate setting with the proper use of resources. As Associate Director, assists in the expansion and enhancement of the Hospital Medicine Program while working to identify opportunities to enhance and standardize patient care. Will work with Departmental and Hospital leadership to advance and align strategic goals and design and implement new projects and innovations to promote continuous improvement within our clinical and educational enterprises.

Long Island Jewish Forest Hills is a 312-bed community teaching hospital that provides inpatient medical and surgical care, intensive care, and women's health services.
