BASIC FUNCTION: Perform a variety of complex, specialized duties requiring excellent
communication skills; utilize specialized knowledge and independent judgment involving frequent
and responsible public contact; responsible for the preparation, tracking and organizing of all
facility acquisition and construction related agreements and/or contracts for legal review and Board
approval; utilize various computer software programs.

Perform a variety of complex, specialized duties requiring excellent communication skills; utilize

contact; responsible for the preparation, tracking and organizing of all facility acquisition and
construction related agreements and/or contracts for legal review and Board approval; utilize

Plan, organize and supervise the daily operations of contract administration. E
Receive and respond to inquiries related to contracts, professional services agreements, bids and
other related issues. E
Develop contractual agreements between the District and external organizations and companies
related to architecture and construction. E
Coordinate and refer matters of legal interpretation to appropriate legal counsel. E
Communicate with District personnel and external organizations regarding District policies and
procedures for contracts, bids and related activities. EPage 2 of 3 Contract Analyst
Respond to questions, provide assistance and offer technical support to vendors to promote the
timely approval of contracts. E
Communicate with District personnel, project managers and external organizations regarding
District policies and procedures for contracts, bids and related activities. E
Interface with building and grounds staff and Board of Education members in developing and
managing contract documentation. E
Update and maintain contract management database and other information. E
Summarize and organize contract files and track work in progress. E
Train, assign, supervise, and evaluate the work of assigned personnel. E
Perform related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
TRAINING, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of education, training and/or experience equivalent to: BA/BS Degree plus
related courses, and seven years of relevant experience.
LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid California driver's license.
Employment eligibility that may include fingerprints, Tuberculosis and/or other employment
clearance.

retrieve or store records or files; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate standard office
equipment; lifting light objects.
