Summary of Job Descriptions:

The Design Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing administrative work to support the design team in meeting company objectives.  This position will process invoices and purchase orders in support of the Design Managers and the company's external design consultants.  The Design Administrative Assistant will also assist the design team in the preparation of task force presentations.

 

You'll get a chance to:

  • Prepare for and facilitate design-related meetings.
  • Document meeting minutes, follow up on action items, and ensure meetings run smoothly.
  • Perform special assignments as requested by Design Managers and leadership in support of design team activities.
  • Handle all requests completely, accurately, and within agreed upon timelines.
  • Assist design team with preparation of presentations and coordinates task force presentations.
  • Perform regular follow-up on invoices and purchase orders with Design consultants to help ensure design projects are on time and within budget.

Your background & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum one year of administrative work experience required
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
