Summary of Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading large, multi-functional technology-related projects with significant budgets and risk.  This position provides project, technical, and business leadership to multiple projects.  The Senior Project Manager determines project scope and deliverables and oversees creation of project plans and of resource allocation.  This position defines and manages project risk.


You'll get a chance to:

  • Lead large, multi-functional technology-related projects with significant budgets and risk.  
  • Provide project, technical, and business leadership.
  • Determine project scope and deliverables.  
  • Oversee creation of project plans and resource allocation.  
  • Assign responsibilities and develops timeframes to facilitate successful completion of the project.
  • May assist the Executive Director in the selection and retention of qualified project management staff. 
  • Coach and develop less experienced members of the project team to elevate their performance in support of the company's growth strategies. 
  • Define and manage project risk and risk mitigation processes.  
  • Keep stakeholders informed of progress, changes, and risks.
  • Communicate effectively with IS Development, business partners, and vendors/consultants to build and maintain close relationships and partnerships and evaluate alternative business solutions.
  • Track and share new knowledge with team members.

Your background and experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in IS, Business or related field required
  • Minimum seven years of IS experience with increasing project management responsibility, with at least five of those years managing Cyber Security projects
  • One or more of the following certifications CISM, CRISC or CGEIT 
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
