Analyst, Digital Analytics

The Coordinator, Analyst, Digital Analytics will be a valuable contributor to Panera's burgeoning data-driven digital strategy.  This individual will support the broader Digital Commerce team as a resource for in-depth A/B or multivariant test analysis across our digital properties (both web and native app) relate to web & app features, UX/design enhancements, merchandising, personalization (audiences, offers, recommendations), and more.

This individual will bring a passion for learning and data-informed decision making that shapes holistic view of our business with consideration for all aspects of the customer experience—from front-end digital experience through order fulfillment and customer service.

The primary responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate & assist with test strategy, design, execution, and quality assurance.

  • Partner with Sr Analyst and managers to collaborate with peers across product management, user experience/design, merchandising, IT and analytics through test setup and validation.

  •  Participate in deep-dive analytical research to uncover customer insights and optimization opportunities.

  • Work alongside the Sr Analyst and management team to leverage a robust existing analytics & optimization toolkit in the journey to deeply understand the customer experiences and highlight opportunities to improve conversion and sales.

  • Support the Digital Commerce team researching digital data to uncover testable hypotheses along with business partners.

  • First pass author, share, and iterate on analyses, dashboards, and reporting related to A/B tests

    • Lifts, sample size, and confidence calculations

    • User experience and conversion insights

    • Statistical analysis of test distributions, audiences/segments, and overall test validity

    • Experience optimization opportunities & test iteration hypotheses

  • QA and validate testable experiences for accuracy and ensure low test execution failure rates.

  • Research & develop testable hypotheses.

  • Ensure technical efficacy of testing tool and underlying data.

  • Assist with the preparation and presentation of insights leveraging data visualization and succinct communications for stakeholders

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business (Marketing, Economics, Finance), Information Technology, or Mathematics/Statistics is preferred.

  • 1+ years of advanced analytical experience with digital product analytics, web analytics, or digital testing (minimum 1 years of digital/web testing or analytics experience specifically).

  • Proficiency in digital testing tools and processes, experience in Adobe Target strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in digital analytics tools and processes, experience in Adobe Analytics strongly preferred.

  • Strong communication skills to present ideas and persuade action.

  • Expertise in data visualization

  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
