Manager, Brand Copywriter

Location - St. Louis, MO or Newton, MA

We are looking for a Manager, Brand Copywriter to write creative copy for the brand across all touchpoints. This individual will partner with the integrated marketing team to provide quality copy across the organization that reflects the brand voice, help lead content strategy and development, and collaborate with designers on copy application.
 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Write highly engaging copy for multiple touchpoints that reflect the brand voice.
  • Help to guide the development of the brand voice and ensure consistency across channels.
  • Manage menu descriptions for consistency and style and assist in product naming
  • Interpret creative direction while asking the right questions to produce great copy.
  • Support communications initiatives for retail, catering, and CPG brands.
  • Serve as a confident and creative thought leader across the department.
  • Present copy concepts and strategic thinking in creative reviews. 
  • Manage multiple projects on short deadlines with minimal supervision.

Qualifications (Education & Experience)

  • Proven experience writing compelling copy for a wide variety of mediums
  • A portfolio demonstrating effective and engaging copywriting for retail brands
  • Food writing experience a plus
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience with SEO
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Knowledge of content strategy and creation
  • Strong research skills
  • Creativity and a collaborative spirit
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • BSc/BA in marketing, English, journalism, or related field
