Schedule: This position will work 2nd shift hours- rotating between 2:30-11:00pm and 3:00-11:30pm shifts during the week. This position includes an every other weekend rotation, and weekend hours are 6:30pm-3:00am.. Rotation also includes 2 Holidays/year. Current start times may vary in the future based on business needs. This position will rotate between all laboratory departments (Hematology/Coagulation, Chemistry/Urinalysis and Blood Bank).

Medical Technologists, or Medical Laboratory Scientists, perform moderate to high complexity testing within the Clinical Laboratory. Prepares samples for examination, using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation. Performs numerous complicated tests simultaneously; accurately evaluates correlates and interprets test results.
- Bachelors degere in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Medical Technologist (MT) certification issued by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or
- Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification issued by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) needs to be obtained within 6 months, or
- Medical Technologist (MT) certification issued by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) needs to be obtained within 6 months
- Under approved circumstances, an extension may be granted for an additional 6 months.
