To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Inventory Logistics Specialist in our Maintenance Department.  The primary responsibility of the position is to monitor not in stock (NIS) items across the system and initiate transfers between bases as needed to cure NIS according to Department strategy.  This position will report to the Manager, Aircraft Parts. 

Essential Duties:

  • Provide technical support to the Stores department

  • Monitor Shelf Life

  • Monitor receiving allocations across the system

  • Monitor Inventory movement

  • Develop and provide support for multiple applications

  • Ensure tasks and projects are completed on time and in scope

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of company data programs and aviation terminology

  • Knowledge of account procedures as it relates to materials management

  • Know the appropriate parts of the Maintenance Policies and Procedures Manual

  • Working knowledge of the Stores Department

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Bachelor's degree

Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment

  • Some travel may be required

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Employment is contingent upon a clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age.

Starting Rate:

$45,000.00/Annual Salary
