Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a BE/BC OBGYN Hospitalist to join our established team in Albuquerque or Rio Rancho, New Mexico. We're all about well-being, starting with yours. Practice Highlights: Albuquerque
- Responsible for labor and delivery including triage and postpartum
- Responsible for ER, inpatient and outpatient OBGYN consults, and urgent/emergency GYN surgery cases
- 12-hour shifts
- Obstetric care duties include managing labor & delivery triage, obstetric and antenatal admissions and rounding, labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, postpartum rounding, discharge
- Occasionally will assist with scheduled cesarean deliveries
- 24/7 inhouse anesthesia and 24/7 inhouse newborn provider
- Level IV NICU Delivering 22/24 weeks and above
- Labor & Delivery staffed by PMG physician, Back up OB Hospitalist, CNM, independent group physician 24/7
- PMG Hospitalists main responsibilities are to establish OBGYN patients with OBGYN group. Back up OB Hospitalists care for unassigned Ob patients and MFM transports
- Daytime MFM in person consults, night MFM consults by phone
- Gynecologic care duties include ER, inpatient and outpatient consults, urgent/emergency GYN surgeries, rounding on consults and GYN admissions.
- System-Wide EPIC EMR
Practice Highlights: Rio Rancho
- Responsible for labor and delivery including triage and postpartum
- Responsible for ER, inpatient and outpatient OBGYN consults, and urgent/emergency GYN surgery cases
- 12-hour shifts
- Obstetric care duties include managing labor & delivery triage, obstetric and antenatal admissions and rounding, labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, postpartum rounding, discharge
- Occasionally will assist with scheduled cesarean deliveries
- MFM consults available by phone and back up physician available
- 24/7 inhouse anesthesia and 24/7 inhouse newborn provider
- No NICU, deliveries 36 weeks and above
- Gynecologic care duties include ER, inpatient and outpatient consults, urgent/emergency GYN surgeries, rounding on consults and GYN admissions.
- System-Wide EPIC EMR
What We're Seeking:
- Must be BC/BE in OB/GYN
- Must be OB/GYN residency trained
- Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice
- Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment
- Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
