Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, additional hours as needed.This is a remote position with onsite work as needed or for ad hoc meetings

What You Will Do:

The Project Engineer Sr. role solves operational problems and improves levels of quality, service, or productivity.  The Project Engineer Sr. works with members of department(s) or service line(s) and develops recommendations for improvement. They focus on improving the availability and validity of information used in analysis, decision making, and monitoring operations performance. The Project Engineer Sr. determines the most efficient and effective way to run the operation.
Project Engineer Sr. will be responsible for leading large scale, high profile, PI projects that cross multiple departments and functions. This may include interfacing with consulting firms, patients, executives, and board members.


What you will need:

  • Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering/Technical Field required. Master's Degree preferred
  • At least 6 years of related experience
  • Proficient with the following software: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Project, Visio and Minitab.
  • Preferred Requirements:
    • Industrial Engineering or Operations Management Experience 
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other performance improvement methodology
    • At least 3 years experience in a healthcare setting
    • Project Management skills
    • Change Management skills
    • Ability to communicate and negotiate across the enterprise
    • Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret descriptive analysis
