Description

Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC), headquartered in Tampa, FL, is North America's largest bulk liquid chemical carrier. Through a network of more than 100 terminals and facilities, we transport a broad range of chemical products and provide our customers with value-added transportation services.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure the transfer of chemical inventory from storage tanks into trucks/trailers and railcars is completed in a safe and timely manner  
• Inspect facility's hazardous storage tankage, drums, and totes under RCRA regulations
• Manage all shipments and documentation
• Other duties as may be needed

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervise transloader team
• Truck loading
• Outbound shipments and inbound railcars
• Truck inventory operations
• Employee safety

Essential Physical Requirements:

• Sit, stand, reach overhead, bend, twist, stoop
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Climb to top of tanks and railcars (up to 34'), walk on catwalk and tops of cars
• Use of ladders
• Able to lift and move hoses when product is being transferred
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures with full chemical PPE
