The Qualtrics XM Platform™ is a system of action that helps businesses to attract customers who stay longer and buy more, to engage and empower employees to do the best work of their lives, to develop breakthrough products people love, and to build a brand people can't imagine living without.

Joining Qualtrics means becoming part of a team bold enough to chase breakthrough experiences - like building a technology that will be a force for good. A team committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion because of a conviction that every voice holds value, with a vision for representation that matches the world around us and inclusion that far exceeds it. You could belong to a team whose values center on transparency, being all in, having customer obsession, acting as one team, and operating with scrappiness. All so you can do the best work of your career.

We believe every interaction is an opportunity. Are we yours?

The Challenge:

Don't worry if you feel you don't tick all the boxes yet - hit that apply button anyways! We've seen the research that women and other people in underrepresented groups tend to only apply when the list all checks out. We recognise that great talent comes from many places, and are committed to hiring incredible human beings above all else.

We spend a third of our lives already at work - so why aren't there more conversations happening around how we can design + improve the experience of work? This is an opportunity to join Qualtrics during a key period of explosive scaling across the ANZ region. We are looking for a number of driven Account Executives to join a growing team to be based in Sydney with a core focus on our award-winning Employee Experience (EX) offering.

We partner with clients to help them empower their organisation to take actions that put their people first. If people and tech are your passion then this is likely the perfect role. Come join us to build an entirely new technology category that is already helping thousands of organisations worldwide elevate the experiences and touchpoints that matter most.

The Mid Market Employee Experience Account Executive is expected to lead all sales efforts within their assigned territory, including prospect identification, lead generation, sales calls, handling the sales cycle, proposal and contract negotiation through deal closure, with a specific focus on driving incremental revenue for our Employee Experience (EX) product line. This is a quota-carrying role that contributes directly to the success of the sales team.

Address product uses, benefits, competitive advantages and business terms; facilitate technical follow-up to close sale;
  • Target account selling (prospecting/lead generation, qualification and scoping, closing strategies, negotiations, etc.);
  • Interface and develop professional relationships with existing clients and prospects throughout the organisational levels;
  • In collaboration with Qualtrics' marketing team, develop and execute demand generation campaigns;
  • Coordinate and actively participate in contract negotiations;
  • Act as representative of Qualtrics at industry conferences and association meetings;
  • Partner with Marketing on leads from trade shows and campaigns, sales process management, develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Qualtrics' solution offerings;
  • Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape to assist in figuring out win-based proposals and pricing;

  • Participate in sales planning status meetings.

Who we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher is desired.
  • Strong background in sales (at least 3+ years). Bonus for experience in selling HR SaaS Tech, recruitment services and or media sales to CHRO/HRD/CTOs. You will need to demonstrate a passion or interest for learning our employee experience (EX) product.
  • Track record of not only meeting yet over-exceeding sales targets/ quotas for 2-3 years. We're looking for strong operators who embrace the challenge of hunting for new business opportunities and building an entirely new technology category.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and measuring system compliance.
  • You've got recruiter-like focus! We're building our teams with a strong mission to close the experience gap, so you'll keep an eye out for like-minded team members and talent that will help us continue to scale.

What differentiates us from other companies:

  • A product that is strongly positioned to disrupt a multi-billion dollar industry and change the way we think about traditional experiences.
  • Work life integration is deeply important to us - we have frequent office events, team outings, and happy hours. Hear it from our employees directly by checking out our Glassdoor (4.5 stars)!
  • We live by our cultural values: TACOS - Transparency, All In, Customer Obsessed, One Team, and Scrappy.
  • We hire the best with the intention of developing and promoting within. Our interview process is held at a high standard, however our company's success cannot be done without the success of our people.
  • We lead from the front on important issues. We have several teams focused on Diversity and Inclusion (MOSAIQ), cancer research (Five For The Fight), WFH (COVID Taskforce), Women in Leadership (WLD), Veterans (QSalute)... the list goes on.

Some of our perks and benefits:

  • Hybrid work - our North Sydney office is buzzing, however we want to ensure our people are feeling supported in doing their best work, wherever they are, when they want. This is not a 100% remote role.
