Principal, Digital Marketing Performance Analyst

As we scale our business, we are looking for a passionate, creative, and analytical person who believes in the power of quantitative analysis to attract, engage and activate buyers throughout the customer journey.   This Principal, Digital Performance Analytics will be responsible for helping Qualtrics hit its overall pipeline and revenue targets by optimizing and expanding digital marketing channels. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of our digital marketing channels, working with digital managers to create and track KPIs that include channel and funnel metrics, and running deep-dive analysis to uncover actionable insights and drive recommendations to improve business outcomes.

You will be at the forefront of our marketing efforts, providing you with the day-to-day challenge of solving complex problems in an ever-evolving landscape. As you steer our operations toward success, you'll master the art of strategic decision-making and analytic problem-solving while navigating complex marketing challenges. Your leadership role will involve coaching and developing a team, guiding your team towards operational excellence and foster their professional development

Things You'll Do

  • Evaluating and working with channel owners to optimize digital marketing campaigns/channels, providing recommendations on performance, and deep analyses to understand what's working and what's not and why.
  • Be the go-to analytics resource for digital channel owners, supporting both large presentations and recommendations and ad-hoc, time-bound requests
  • Produce growth insights (campaign efficiency, funnel analysis, cohort list aging)
  • Acquire and blend campaign member/cohort data from multiple sources (e.g. third-party data source, Marketo, Google Analytics, etc), and support operational campaign execution using SQL and scripting tools like Python/R as needed
  • Monitor campaigns to optimize performance based on industry best practices
  • Craft raw data and analysis into well-written and persuasive visual content
  • Deliver regular, easy-to-consume presentations and business reviews to senior stakeholders and executives like product marketing teams, marketing leadership, etc
  • Support marketing leadership on critical investment decisions and projects like Measuring marketing program effectiveness with emphasis on customer lifecycle, how to effectively measure the impact of new campaigns, prospect segmentation, and advanced targeting/personalization techniques

What We're Looking For On Your Resume

  • 5-10 years' experience in Marketing Analytics or Marketing Operations, Revenue Analytics, or Revenue Operations
  • Experience in a SaaS company and understanding of the B2B lead to opportunity and sales process
  • Knowledge of channel performance metrics, including website performance, channel performance, and more including Digital Marketing, including email, Paid Search, SEO, and Website Analytics
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL (experience with SAS/Python/R is a plus)
  • Strong communication and data visualization skills; can easily create powerful visualizations that transform complex data into easily consumable, actionable insights. Proficiency in at least one analytics & visualization tool such as Tableau, R, Domo, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree from a selective university in a quantitative discipline such as CS/Math/Engineering, Marketing/Communications with an analytics focus, or related field

  • Your day will consist of overseeing the integration and functionality of marketing systems, ensuring that every prospect and customer touchpoint is tracked and utilized to its full advantage.
  • You will routinely align with field marketing, demand generation, and SDR managers to optimize tactics based on data-driven insights. Work closely with your team to distill complex analytics into clear strategies for better-targeted campaigns.
  • You'll brainstorm with your global team to bridge technological gaps, increasing automation and personalization. The insights you generate will be crucial in making executive decisions, translating directly into initiatives that enhance our customer's journey through expertly-crafted, tailored experiences.
