Responsibilities:

  • Leads the finished product loadout activities and staff working as part of the team

  • Monitors the loadout equipment and control systems, reporting any issues to be addressed by maintenance

  • Monitors the loadout equipment for sanitary conditions and ensures the master cleaning schedule is completed as required and that all MCS documentation is filled out upon completion of required tasks

  • Supervises railcar movements required for cleaning and loading ensuring the safety of staff on the rail siding

  • Monitors the conditions of the rail tracks and completes monthly inspections. Ensures no adverse conditions prevent the rail service provider from performing the required lifts of loaded cars and placement of empty cars.

  • Ensures railcars are loaded in a timely matter, meeting customer orders requests

  • Ensures all documentation related to finished product loading is accurate and complete at the time of loading

  • Monitors customer orders in advance and assists in the planning of finished product loadout to ensure orders are loaded on time

  • Accurately enters finished product order information in the Richardson computer program.

  • Monitors the condition of finished product vessels and reports any conditions not conducive to food grade

  • Able to competently maneuver the Rail Provider's website to ensure that customer orders are released for pick up

  • Operates in accordance with health, safety and fire prevention regulations and practices

  • Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years shipping and receiving experience

  • Grade 12 or equivalent

  • Experience providing direction to others

  • Experience maintaining and repairing equipment and working with automated control systems
