Summary

RNDC is Seeking a talented and energetic Human Resources manager to join a dynamic HR team. This management role is considered a Mid-Level HR Professional with five to eight plus years Human Resources experience as a manager or generalist. The primary role of the Manager, Human Resources will be to serve as a HR Business Partner to a mid-size field-based business unit and market/state leaders providing direction, and execution on the RNDC Human Capital Strategic Plan. The scope of responsibility includes leading and executing, through others, the RNDC HR Strategic Plan. The full scope of HR disciplines includes Talent Management; Employment Relations and Legal Compliance: Compensation Administration; Associate Workplace Experience; Corporate Social Responsibility: and Business Consulting/Coaching and Change Management. The Manager HR is responsible for the successful management and performance of any assigned direct report team. In addition, this person has an active role in discussions of any nature in helping drive the human capital strategy for the Company. 

 

In this role, you will
  • Human Resource Technical Expertise and Practice: Demonstrates the ability to apply the principles and practices of human resource management to contribute to the success of RNDC at the mid-HR level. 
  • Relationship Management: Demonstrates the ability to manage interactions with and between others with the specific goal of providing service and organizational success. 
  • Organizational Leadership and Navigation: Must demonstrate the ability to direct initiatives and processes within the organization with agility and to gain buy-in from stakeholders. 
  • Communication: Must demonstrate the ability to effectively exchange and create a free flow of information with and among various stakeholders at all levels of the organization to produce impactful outcomes. 
  • Ethical Practice: Must manage the integrations of core values; integrity; and accountability throughout the assigned business units and human capital practices. The scope of expertise includes Rapport and Trust Building; Personal, Professional and Behavioral Integrity; Professionalism; Credibility; and Personal and Professional Courage. 
  • Critical Evaluation: Must demonstrate the skill in interpreting data and other information to determine return on investment (ROI) and organizational impact in making business decisions and/or recommendations. 
  • Other Duties. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned throughout the course of employment not listed in the essential duties.

Supervisory Scope (Manager, HR role).May manage a HR Specialist or HR Administrator. Plan, direct, supervise, and manage work activities of subordinates relating to the RNDC Human Capital Plan to ensure executional excellence and continuous improvement. 

 

What you bring to RNDC

Three or Seven years related HR Specialist's experience including partnering with key managers of a division or mid-size business unit. Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university preferred. SHRM certification preferred. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products' Certification. There is local market travel required for the position to business offices outside the assigned home office. Field presence is estimated at 30-40%. Ability to operate computer systems, enterprise-wide software solutions; social media channels; telephone systems.

This compensation information is a good faith estimate and provided in accordance with California state law. Similar positions located outside of this jurisdiction may not necessarily receive the same compensation. The target salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000.  The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on skills, capabilities, previous experience, education and other factors.
