Title: Pathology Service Representative I/II

Regular Company: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center Department: Pathology Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 FTE: 1 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a full time Pathology Service Representative I or Pathology Service Representative II for the Pathology department.

The Pathology Service Representative I processes requests for the intake and release of Pathology material for internal or external review/testing. Handles correspondence requests for the tracking/status of material requests via phone, mail, fax, and information system requests. Salary range is $41,399 - $50,884 which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

The Pathology Service Representative II coordinates activities and conducts entry level training of Pathology Service Representatives. Performs all the duties of a Pathology Service Representative I which includes, but is not limited to the processing of requests for the intake and release of Pathology material for internal or external review/testing. Handles correspondence requests for the tracking/status of material requests via phone, mail, fax, and information system requests. Salary range is $46,306 - $56,743 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications: Required Education and Experience for Pathology Service Representative II

1. Two (2) years of full-time experience as a Pathology Service Representative I at Roswell Park; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in a comparable medical/clinical setting; or
3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in a comparable medical/clinical setting.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Required Education and Experience for Pathology Service Representative I

1. Associate's degree in a Healthcare discipline; or
2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in a setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
3. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and two (2) years of full-time experience in a setting requiring the use of medical terminology or customer service.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
