We are actively seeking Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) to maintain operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure compliance with information systems security policies, standards, and procedures for a Mission customer. Your talents, perspectives, and efforts will contribute directly to the production of valuable intelligence to facilitate positive mission outcomes.
- Perform vulnerability/risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation.
Provide configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
Manage changes to system and assesses the security impact of those changes
Prepare and review documentation to include System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices
Supports security authorization activities in compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
Five (5) years of experience as an ISSO
Demonstrated experience in one (1) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/tools
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Additional four (4) years of ISSO experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
DoD 8570 compliance with IA Technician (IAT) Level I or higher
