Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for video production? SAIC's Marketing team is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Junior Videographer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your video editing skills, collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, and contribute to the ever-evolving needs of our marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Edit video content using Adobe Creative Suite on a MacBook Pro platform, bringing your creative vision to life.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of After Effects to create captivating motion graphics.
• Set up camera gear for on-location, studio, or virtual video shoots.
• Actively participate in meetings with customers, colleagues, and leaders, contributing your ideas and expertise as a team player.
• Communicate project requirements, develop storyboards, and craft compelling scripts that elevate our video content.
• Capture stunning portraits, event coverage, and location shots, showcasing the essence of our company and its people.
• Develop engaging video assets tailored for social media platforms.
Qualifications
• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing your videography, editing, and motion design skills (to be provided upon request).
• Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in videography, video editing, and motion design.
• Ability to work on shared cloud projects, both in the office and from home.
• Bachelor's degree in media arts, advertising, video, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with operating cameras, setting up lighting equipment, green screens, scriptwriting, and storyboarding.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, Media Encoder, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to commute to our Reston, VA office and willingness to travel to locations within the USA.
